A pilot community safety programme being trialed in Longford is paying real dividends when it comes to policing.
That's the view of local Community Policing Sergeant Darren Conlon as he addressed the third meeting of the LCSP.
The Longford Community Safety Partnership was set up with the aim to combat anti-social behaviour and criminality by creating a tailored local community safety plan with input from the local community and public services.
