A lorry driver was arrested in Roscommon after he tested positive for cocaine yesterday.
The Roscommon Roads Policing Unit stopped the lorry in the Tulsk area following a number of traffic offences.
Gardaí had observed the driver using his phone whilst driving.
When stopped, Gardaí conducted roadside tests and the motorist subsequently tested positive for cocaine.
Gardaí confirmed the man was arrested at the scene and has since been released pending the results of tests.
