Lough Ree RNLI have paid tribute to their outgoing Lifeboat manager as the rescue service is seeking a replacement. Kevin Ganly has helped co-ordinate the opening of the services new lifeboat station, a 1.2 million euro development partly funded by the local community. The Coosan native was praised for his efforts in bringing new volunteers to the organisation and training those already in place.
