A major new development at Center Parcs in Co. Longford will create 250 permanent jobs. They announced today that a €100m development will begin in September. During the construction phase, a total of 300 jobs will also be created.
The development includes the addition of 198 lodges which will increase the capacity of the resort to approximately 3,500 guests per break. Existing facilities will also be developed, including the addition of a new restaurant, coffee house and leisure and car park facilities. Center Parcs UK & Ireland's CEO, Colin McKinlay said that "they are thrilled to be able to create even more opportunities and boost the local economy further."
