Works to improve the Boyle Pleasure Grounds are due to get underway next month.
Roscommon County Council has confirmed that works to enhance footpaths as well as improving paved areas and bridges and railings will start in conjunction with Failte Ireland and the local Town team.
This project is being funded by the Tourism body with matching funding also being provided by the local authority.
The works are set to take 8 weeks to complete with the Pleasure Grounds set to close from the week beginning August 2nd but access to the playground will be maintained.
