Funding of close to €450,000 has been announced to enhance outdoor projects across the Shannonside Northern Sound region.
The money will be used to enhance local mountain trails, forest walks, lakes, rivers, and greenways.
Co Leitrim receives the biggest allocation, with close to 177-thousand euro going to nine projects in the county.
Next comes Longford, which will benefit from funding of more than 142-thousand euro for eight outdoor projects.
Roscommon will get similar funding, receiving over 139-thousand euro for eight schemes.
