170 jobs will be created in Athlone over the next three years, after manufacturer Enermech opens its first facility in Ireland today.
Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has welcomed the company to Ireland, calling Athlone a fantastic choice of location for investment.
Formed in April 2008, EnerMech provides specialist integrated mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and integrity services to the international energy and infrastructure sectors.

The facility is located in IDA Ireland’s Business and Technology Park.
