Major works to take place on the N6 starting next month

Westmeath County Council are advising the public of major works on a well-used route.

Ducting works are due to take place on the N6 between junctions 8 and 13 starting from October 2nd.

Each merging and diverging ramp at these junctions will be closed for a number of nights starting with the junction 8 merge ramp which will close for 4 nights.

The works are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7pm to 6am each day and are due to last until the 31st of December.

Diversions will be in place and motorists are advised to plan ahead.
