Two people have been killed in a road crash in Co. Donegal.
The incident, involving two cars, happened on the N56 at Kilmacrennan just before midnight last night.
The driver of one car, a man in his 70s, and a passenger of the other car, a woman in her 70s, both died.

The driver of the second car, a woman in her 40s, was taken to hospital for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
The road has been closed and diversions are in place.
