A man is appearing in Court this morning in connection to an armed robbery at a discount store in Longford last month.
On Sunday the 14th of August, a man entered the shop in the Mastertech Business Park on the Athlone road and threatened staff with a knife.
He fled the scene on foot with a sum of cash.

The man in his 30s was arrested this week by Longford Gardaí following investigations and renewed appeals for information.
He was due to appear before Mullingar district court this morning.
