A man in his 40's is being held by police after a knife attack at an under 16's GAA match in Co. Tyrone.
It happened just after 9 o'clock last night during the under-16 Championship semi-final between Cookstown Fr Rocks and Fintona Pearses in Cookstown.
One man was treated at the scene for minor injuries, a second was taken to hospital.
There were many children among the crowd of spectators and Cookstown GFC says it is now supporting children and young people "who witnessed this disturbing and very serious incident".
Press Association reporter Cillian Sherlock says the PSNI are anxious to track down video footage from the scene:
'Police actually remained at the scene late last night after responding to the report of the stabbing incident at the sports ground in the Convent Road area of Cookstown.
Two people had sustained stab wounds in the incident.
Ultimately a managed in his 40s has been arrested and taken into custody for questioning and police continue to appeal for witnesses and anyone with footage of the incident to contact them. '
