Gardaí in Athlone have arrested a man in his 30s in connection to the discovery of the body of a woman in South Roscommon.
58-year-old Mirjana Pap was found dead on lands at Curraghaleen, Co. Roscommon on Monday 30th December.
She had been reported missing from her home in Athlone on Saturday, 28th December.
The Croatian national had been living in Athlone for over twenty years and has been affectionately described as a "good neighbour and friend."

A man, aged in his 30s was arrested this morning on suspicion of murder.
He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Meath/Westmeath Division.
