A man is being questioned at Athlone Garda station today following a burglary and an attempted burglary in the Bonavalley area yesterday.
It's understood a man was disturbed during one of the burglaries and was arrested a short time later.
Meanwhile Gardai in Roscommon are appealing for information in relation to a theft from Summerhill Business Park at Clonark on Monday evening.

An industrial, diesel powered, power-washer was taken from the park just after 6 o' clock on the evening of the Bank Holiday.
Gardaí would like to hear form anyone who may have noticed a white van in the area at the time.
