A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing at a funeral in Co Kerry yesterday.
He was arrested in Cork in the early hours of this morning, and is currently being held at Tralee Garda Station.
Thomas Dooley, who was in his 40s, died following the stabbing at Rath Cemetery.
A post-mortem is due to take place at University Hospital Kerry this morning.
Kerry journalist, Anne Lucey, says the cemetery in Tralee has a history of violence:
Rath cemetery has been a scene of a number of violent disorder incidents in recent years.
Large quantities of weapons you could call them, including slash hooks, were recovered in one incident in 2014.
The Gardaí there prevented a major violent incident there on that occasion.
