A man has been arrested following a significant drugs seizure in Longford Town today.
Gardaí in the town stopped and searched a car this morning, discovering a quantity of cannabis herb.
A man was arrested and a follow up search of a house saw more cannabis discovered to the value of €25,000.

He is being detained at Longford Garda Station and investigations are ongoing
