A man's been questioned following the seizure of a quantity of cannabis herb in Lanesboro.
The man was detained after the seizure of €1,200 worth of the drug during the search of a car in the town shorty after half-past seven yesterday evening.
The drugs were found underneath the front passenger seat of the car.

Meanwhile a youth was questioned in Longford town about the possession of a quantity of cocaine last night.
He was found with an estimated €280 euro of the drug in the Ardnacassa area around half-past twelve this morning.
