A man is still being questioned in relation to a murder investigation, following the discovery of a body in north Dublin.
28-year-old Sean McCarthy was found dead in an apartment in Drumcondra on Saturday.
The body of Seán McCarthy was discovered by Gardaí on Saturday night, at an apartment on Achill Road, Drumcondra.
He'd been missing from his house in Poppintree since last Tuesday and Gardaí carried out an extensive search prior to the discovery of his body.
It's understood the 28-year-old sustained numerous gunshot wounds that proved to be fatal.
It's also believed the incident took place at the property in Drumcondra.
A suspect was arrested on Saturday night, and is still being questioned at Clontarf Garda station, where he can be held for up to a week.
