A man has been charged after the discovery of a cannabis grow house in Edgeworthstown on Monday afternoon.
Members of the Longford Roscommon Divisional Drugs Unit, with assistance from local gardai, searched a property in the town just after 1:30pm yesterday afternoon and found a number of plants in various stages of growth.
It's estimated the total value of the drugs was just under €40,000.
A man was arrested at the scene and subsequently questioned at Longford Garda station.
He has been charged and is due in court in Trim, County Meath later this morning.
