Man charged over damage to election posters in Carrick

A man is due before Carrick on Shannon district Court today charged with damaging election posters. The man in his 50s was arrested on Sunday after a report of criminal damage to posters was made to Gardaí. He has been charged under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 and is appearing at Carrick On Shannon District Court today.
