A man has been charged in connection with the theft of equipment from two motor garages in Boyle over the weekend.
Gardai were alerted to a break into a garage in the north Roscommon town on Saturday morning and it was later discovered that a second premises had also been targeted.
After examining CCTV footage, a warrant was issued to search a property in Ballaghaderreen on Sunday.
Motor accessories with a value in excess of €2,500 were seized along with a motor vehicle and a man in his mid-20's was arrested and detained at Castlerea Garda station.
He was later charged in connection with the thefts and is due to appear at Carrick on Shannon District court on the 15th of September.
