Australian police have issued two arrest warrants for a man who was jailed for the manslaughter of a young Leitrim man almost ten years ago.
29-year-old Patrick Farrell has outstanding warrants for an alleged stabbing last month and an assault last year in Sydney.
The Kildare man was convicted of the killing of Andrew Dolan in Mullingar in 2011.
Carrick-on-Shannon native Andrew Dolan, who was just 20, died ten days after suffering serious injuries in a 'one-punch' assault in Mullingar on December 23rd 2011.
Mr. Farrell was convinced of his manslaughter and was jailed for three years.
New South Wales Police are seeking the whereabouts of the Kildare native in connection with a 'malicious wounding' incident earlier this month and an assault in a Mantraville in November of last year
Andrew's father Joe has told Shannonside FM that the family are shocked and appalled at the latest developments involving their son's killer and they don't wish to comment further at this month.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are appealing for assistance to help locate a man wanted on warrants....
