Man hospitalised following alleged assault in Co. Longford

Gardaí in Longford are investigating an alleged assault which took place yesterday evening. The incident took place in the Ballymahon area of Longford at approximately 5.20pm yesterday evening.

A man in his 40s was taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar for non-life threatening injuries. Gardaí say no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing at this time.
