Man in his 20's arrested over Longford drugs seizure last weekend

Longford Gardaí are continuing investigations after a drugs seizure and arrest in the county over the weekend. Gardaí from the Divisional Drugs Unit conducted a planned search of a home in the Edgeworthstown on Saturday. During the course of the search they found suspected cocaine and cannabis herb with a value of €6,000.

Gardaí also seized drug related paraphernalia such as a scales and packaging materials. A man in his 20s was arrested and subsequently released by Longford Gardaí, with a file to be prepared for the DPP.
