A man has died following a serious road crash in County Galway last week. Gardai are investigating after a car was involved in a single vehicle collision on the R360 at Ballintava, Dunmore, in the early hours of Friday morning. Two men, both in their 20s were taken to University Hospital Galway for treatment following the incident.
The driver has since passed away after receiving serious injuries. The passenger was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Investigations are ongoing.
