Two young men have been seriously hurt in an overnight road crash in Co. Galway. The single vehicle collision happened on the R360 at Ballintava in Dunmore at around 2.30 this morning. The driver who is aged in his 20's was taken to University Hospital Galway with serious injuries, his passenger who is also in his 20's is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The road has been closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact them.
