The 15.05 train service between Sligo and Dublin was delayed yesterday afternoon due to a person onboard being verbally abusive to a staff member.
Irish Rail said gardai were called at Carrick-on Shannon to remove the person from the train.
The train was delayed at Carrick-on-Shannon by about 20 minutes as a result of the incident.
The 15:05 Sligo/Connolly is currently operating approximately 20 minutes behind schedule due to an issue at Carrick on Shannon. Service is moving and has departed Dromod towards Longford - MH
