A man has won himself a new home after purchasing the winning ticket for a draw organised by Roscommon GAA and Club Rossie.
The "Win a Home in Kildare" draw is the latest in a series of fundraisers undertaken by Roscommon GAA following similar draws for homes in Dublin and London.
The winning ticket was unveiled at the draw in the Hodson Bay Hotel yesterday evening, where one lucky man from Co. Meath won a home in Newbridge, Co. Kildare, worth €360,000.
With the funds raised, Roscommon GAA will be making a contribution to ONE, a charity which provides support and advocacy for ex-service personnel of the Irish Defence Forces.
