A festival celebrating the legacy of Maria Edgeworth is taking place in Longford this coming weekend.
The Maria Edgeworth Festival of Literature & Arts will feature a variety of workshops, craft markets and musical performances.
As part of the conference, Edgeworth's Practical Education will be celebrated 225 years after its publication.

Longford County Council, Creative Longford and Longford Tourism are supporting the event in Edgeworthstown that occurs between May 4th and 7th.
