Aaron McCabe stole the show with two goals including a top class lob as Longford Town grabbed a 3-1 win over Wexford.
Sam Verdon opened the scoring with a ninth minute penalty after Rob Manley was brought down in the box, Verdon slotting home the spot kick.
Town however never really built on their good start with Wexford coming close on a couple of occasions before Conor Crowley converted a 75th minute free kick to level the game.
Substitute Aaron McCabe then struck twice in the final four minutes, first with an exquisite lob to make it 2-1 and then with following in a Rob Manley shot which was pushed back out by Wexford keeper Tom Murphy.

An important victory for Town as it moves them to third in the league table, three behind leaders Cabinteely and one behind second placed Drogheda United, albeit having played a game more.
