A Longford secondary school is to lease out a former printing company in order to provide essential classroom space.
It's understood agreement has been reached to allow mean Scoil Mhuire access to the 11,000 square foot Turners Printing Company building in Longford town.
It will allow the provision of an additional seven or eight classrooms for the school which currently has 570 pupils.
Work is continuing to find a brand new site for the school with discussions continuing with the Education Minister.
