There is still a long way to go before the LGBTQ+ community can have equal rights in Ireland.
That is the view of a member of the LGBTQ+ community from Co. Leitrim.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Isolde Carmody responded to comments which questioned the need for Pride parades across the country.
It comes as Longford held its very first Pride festivities on Saturday.
