A local MEP says he's written to the Taoiseach over concerns regarding EU Nature Restoration Law funding. It emerged this week that there's no dedicated budget to compensate farmers affected by the controversial law. Ciaran Mullooly says the news was in stark contrast to a statement made by the Minister for Agriculture earlier this year. Speaking in February, Minister Charlie McConalogue highlighted the need to identify funding opportunities to support farmers in carrying out restoration measures.
