Met Éireann has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms for 11 counties, including those in the Shannonside region.
It's in effect now until 10pm tonight.
The forecaster is warning of localised thunderstorms and lightning with heavy downpours.

It's in place in Longford, Leitrim, Roscommon, Cavan, Monaghan, Dublin, Louth, Meath, Offaly,Westmeath and Galway.
