Independent Ireland's Michael Fitzmaurice has been elected in Roscommon-Galway after the first count.
Fitzmaurice received 12,002 first preference votes exceeding the quota of 10,283. Outgoing Sinn Féin TD Claire Kerrane and Fianna Fáil candidate Dr Martin Daly are expected to fill the other two seats.
