The second councillor for Ballymahon has been elected this evening.
Mick Cahill (FF) has been elected following the conclusion of a lengthy recount process which took up the majority of the afternoon.
Cahill joins Paul Ross (FG) as the only other candidate elected. Indeed, there are four seats reamining to be filled.
