The A&E departments at Midlands Regional Hospitals in Mullingar and Tullamore are experiencing a second day of high numbers of people on trolleys.
18 people are waiting for beds at Mullingar Hospital today, an increase of one from yesterday.
While their sister hospital in Tullamore has 13 patients awaiting beds on trolleys, almost double the figure from yesterday.
Elsewhere in the Shannonside region, there are 7 people on trolleys at Sligo University Hospital.
While there are no reports of patients waiting for beds at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe or Cavan General Hospital.
