The State's systems for identifying areas that need resources for autistic children, such as school places, are "not working" - according to the Children's Minister.
Roderic O'Gorman has admitted children and their families have been "badly let down", as they continue their campaign for a school place.
Protests have taken place over the last few months, with some parents saying they have been rejected from as many as 30 schools.
