A local enterprise hub and an outdoor amenity will officially be opened by Minister Heather Humphreys in Roscommon tomorrow.
The Minister for Community and Rural Development will visit Ballinlough to see Enterprise Kiltullagh's Digital Hub and Lake O Flynn's outdoor gym.
The digital hub aims to provide a wide range of working spaces to support local businesses, entrepreneurs and community groups.
While the outdoor facilities at Ballinlough lake provides a fishing area and boardwalk trail for outdoor recreation and rural tourism.
During her visit, she will meet with the community to discuss the progress made to Lake O Flynn as well as the transformation of a local derelict building into a working hub.
Chairperson of Enterprise Kiltullagh Yvonne Ryan is delighted to welcome Minister Humphrey’s to launch the initiatives:
'The hub has been opened for approximately a year at this point but we have always had it in our head that we would get the Minister for Rural Development to open the building for us. We are absolutely delighted that she has accepted our invitation and will officially open the building tomorrow. She will also be opening a number of other projects that we have been associated with.'
