A Junior Minister at the Department of Transport is set to meet with members of Longford County Council today ahead of tomorrow's visit by Green Party Leader Eamon Ryan.
The Minister for Transport and the Environment is expected to visit Longford County Council tomorrow afternoon, where local councillors will quiz the Green Minister on issues surrounding the upgrade of the N4 among other projects.
Minister Ryan told Shannonside FM News earlier this year that the project was not a current priority for his department, leading to heavy criticism from local politicians. Minister of State in the Department, Jack Chambers, is set to pre-empt those discussions when he meets with local councillors later today.
