Mohill progressed to the Connacht Gold Leitrim Senior football semi-final after a dominating 3-16 to 2-9 win over Allen Gaels.
Mohill were excellent from the throw-in and led by 15 points at the break 3-8 to three points at the break, inspired by Keith Beirne who scored 2-8, two goals in the first-half including a penalty.
David Mitchell found the Allen Gaels net for the third Mohill goal, but Mohill were excellent throughout in front of the posts, Ronan Kennedy and Domhnaill Flynn each scoring three points.
Allen Gaels battled back in the second-half and two Caleb Duffy goals gave them hope of a surprise comeback, but to Mohill’s credit they always found a score to the comeback at bay.
It was Mohill’s day as they progress to the semi-finals winning out by 10 points, 3-16 to 2-9.
