The Chief Executive of Leitrim's local authority says it's an exceptional day for the county following the confirmation of over one million euro in rural renewal funding.
Leitrim received one of the largest allocations nationwide from a 4 and a half million euro fund for town and village renewal projects.
Lar Power says the funding will help a number of schemes right around the county.
Thomas Mulligan is welcoming the news of the refurbishment following a 30 year wait.
Speaking at today's announcement, Gerry Kilraine chair of Mohill Town Teams said the funding will breathe life back into the town.
