A group of mothers gathered in Roscommon town square this morning to normalise breastfeeding in public places.
The topic was raised on the Joe Finnegan Show this week following a text message from a listener which disagreed with it being done in public.
Ireland has one of the lowest rates of breast feeding in Europe and the Western World.
