A motorcyclist is being treated in hospital in Dublin after being injured in a crash in County Longford.
He was driving a motorbike which collided with a car on the N4 at Aghadegan in Longford Town shortly after 4.30pm yesterday. The man in his 40s has been airlifted from the scene to Tallaght Hospital, where his injuries are described as serious. Gardaí appealing for witnesses who were travelling on that road to come forward.
The scene has been examined, and the road has since fully reopened. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or who was traveling on the N4 in the Aghadegan area at the time to come forward. Those with camera footage, including dashcam footage, are particularly encouraged to provide it to investigating Gardaí.
