A motorist is facing a court date after they were detected traveling at double the speed limit through a busy town in Longford.
Gardaí stopped the car after it was detected travelling at close to 100 kilometres an hour through Ballymahon in the South of the county.
Following a roadside fluid test, the motorist was found to have cocaine in their system and was subsequently arrested.

They'll appear at Longford District Court in the coming weeks.
