Motorist in Strokestown arrested for drug driving and defective tyre

Gardaí in Roscommon have arrested a driver for drug driving.

The incident happened in Strokestown during a garda checkpoint.

When the motorist's vehicle was checked, it was found to have a defective tyre.

The driver was also found to be under the influence of drugs and was placed under arrest.
