Mullingar Regional Hospital is recording a high number of young people attending for treatment at its emergency department today.
Management at the health facility are asking the public to consider their options before attending the Paediatric Emergency Department in order to manage the safety of our patients and staff.
According to the INMO, a total of seven people were waiting to be admitted at the hospital this afternoon.

There have been a high number of Paediatric Emergency Department Attendances and Admissions to Regional Hospital Mullingar.
We would ask patients to consider their options before attending the Paediatric Emergency Department in order to manage the safety of our patients and staff. Paediatric patients who require urgent care will be prioritised.
