The Fleadh is believed to have brought close on 50 million euro to the region.

As part of an investigation into organised criminal activity around the town, plain clothes Gardaí ordered a vehicle to stop near Mullingar yesterday.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann takes place in Mullingar from the 6th to 14th of August.
