Aontu's Peadar Toibin has moved ahead of Gildernew, rising to 53,222, but he remains almost 15,500 votes behind Mullooly and isn't considered as big a threat as the Sinn Féin woman.
However, Gildernew is expected to make significant gains when her party colleague, Chris McManus, who has over 33,000 votes, is eliminated.
