A section of the N4 between Edgeworthstown and Mullingar has reopened following a road crash this morning. The single vehicle collision happened just after 7am near Multyfarnham in Co. Westmeath.
Both occupants of the vehicle were transferred to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar, where a man remains in a serious condition. A woman who was driving the car is currently receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
