The contractors for the restoration of Strokestown National Famine Museum have been nominated for a major national award.
Kelbuild Ltd which is based in Mullingar but specialise in refurbishment works has been nominated in The Irish Construction Excellence Awards.
They're hoping to take home top honours in the Public Heritage category.
The museum, in the grounds of Strokestown Park House, received a five million euro upgrade with the facility re-opening to the public last October.
The awards ceremony takes place on April 27th in the Convention Centre, Dublin.
